The next Living-in.EU signatory event will focus on local and regional digital agendas. Local and regional digital agendas are key instruments for accelerating the digital transformation of cities and communities. Strategies at the local and regional level need to be complementary and mutually-reinforcing.

In 2022, the Localret Consortium adopted the Digital Agenda of the municipalities of Catalonia. The Agenda is the supporting instrument for the realization of strategies, plans, and projects of joint and shared digital transformation of the municipalities in the region. It is a document that serves as a model agenda so that the municipalities can draw up their own digital agendas.

In this Living-in.EU signatory event, we will learn from the experts behind the Digital Agenda of the municipalities of Catalonia, about the collaborative process, the agenda itself, and the first steps in its implementation. We will discuss the needed for coordination in between all the administrations responsible for the digitalization of the cities and towns, and how to set the mechanisms for the governance. We will then hear from other Living-in.EU cities about their take on the agenda, and about their experience.
